Healthdirect Australia Secures AWS Cloud Environment with Continuous Network Monitoring from Tenable Network Security

Leading provider of online health care information deploys SecurityCenter Continuous View in 100 percent cloud environment to improve security visibility and meet compliance standards

Tenable Network Security®, Inc., a global leader transforming security technology for the business needs of tomorrow, announced today that Healthdirect Australia, a public health care company providing a range of free services on behalf of the Australian national government, selected SecurityCenter Continuous View™ (SecurityCenter CV™) to improve security visibility and ensure compliance across its 100 percent Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment.

When the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) passed a government mandate in 2012 requiring all federal services to comply with stringent security standards in the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), the Healthdirect IT security team had to rethink its security approach.

SecurityCenter CV also allowed Healthdirect to assess more than 300 virtual machines within corporate and consumer environments each night, and report on the effectiveness of the security program to business-level executives and the board.
